PARTY AND WEDDING PLANNING STORE LAUNCHES AT THE GALLERIES

We have welcomed a new party and wedding planning services shop in Makinson Arcade!

Plan-it Party has opened its doors in Wigan town centre, offering packages and venue dressing services for birthdays, christenings, wedding receptions, baby showers and many other parties and events. It opened on Monday 15th May, with the official grand opening day on Saturday 27th May. The store follows the recent opening of three other independent retailers, Niamh and Ruby’s Communion store, nail and beauty store Princess Nails, and computer game and electronic store Games n More.

Plan-it Party’s Store Owner, Gary Hilton, said: “We’re very excited to announce the opening of our Makinson Arcade store, which will help expand our offering to our loyal customers, while hopefully exposing our services to new customers as well.

“We offer a huge variety of products for venue dressing at themed and personalised events, and can also deliver, set up and collect all items for your event. From balloons and confetti to centrepieces and chair covers, we offer everything you could possibly want to make your event look and feel amazing.”

Victoria Nichol, Centre Manager for The Galleries, said: “Plan-it Party is another fantastic new addition to The Galleries and will add further variety to our growing portfolio of stores. Since the end of 2016 we have had a range of new retailers move into the centre, offering something for everyone, and this latest opening will be another unique store for visitors to enjoy.

“We are eager to build on our reputation as one of Wigan’s best destinations for shopping variety and the recent opening of these new stores has helped build on our vibrant high street and independent retail mix.”
